Our grandparents, Patrick "Earl" and Carol VanCoughnett bought this beautiful property back in 1974.  It was a functioning dairy farm for several decades until Earl's retirement in 2006.  There are so many stories attached to this property - we hear them all the time from neighbors, friends, and even strangers!

Fast forward to 2010 when we moved back to the family farm to keep the traditions, instill the values, and make a legacy for our little family by extending the farm into its third generation in our family.  We also got married on the farm in 2010!

 

Moving back to the North Country, our farm is definitely HOME and we cannot imagine our life anywhere else.  We thought one day that this barn would make a really nice wedding venue and in 2023 (over a decade later) we started to make it happen!  All around us, these beautiful structures were falling down and we just couldn't let that happen with all of the hard work that three generations of our family put in here!
